OTTAWA, CANADA--Centrepoint Technologies, manufacturer of the
innovative TalkSwitch telephone system, today announced general
availability of Software Version 2.39. Existing TalkSwitch
customers can upgrade to the new version for no extra charge.
This release enhances the system's ability to integrate
teleworkers and mobile warriors and adds a Uniform Call
Distribution (UCD) capability.
Release 2.39 further enhances the ability of small businesses to
provide their teleworkers and mobile employees with the same
communications benefits as in the office. Remote phone users,
whether wired or wireless, gain improved call handling capability
including the ability to transfer calls to another extension or
back to the office.
TalkSwitch's Uniform Call Distribution capability, allows small
offices to better manage incoming call volume, while maintaining
customer service levels. Incoming calls are automatically
distributed and queued to employees for answering on a priority
basis. Several refinements have been made to the TalkSwitch
voice mail system to improve its ease of use.
